Branding and marketing for the Protection Services Professional – for the freelance Protective Service agent and for those companies providing protective services branding and marketing is, in my opinion, the most neglected part of business.
When Larry Snow posted his short article “Hey you!! Buy My Stuff”, he was asked – OK hotshot, how do I use the Social Media as a branding and marketing tool? Good question. Especially for someone like me who up until recently thought branding was something you did to cows. It has been said that “you have been around for 40 years, you have an established brand” – well yes – but what I learned was that it is just as hard to maintain the brand as it is to establish a brand. That’s were Larry comes in.
Just as you are a student of EP, (at least I hope you are), Larry is a student of the Social Media and Protective Services. So to answer that question “How do I use the social media for branding and marketing” – Well over the past 5 years Larry Snow has written many FREE articles, created podcasts, conducted seminars, on just those subjects. Discovery Education, which is an off shot of the Discovery channel, asks Larry for permission to use his tutorials of Google + for one of their education programs.
