Lately we have been receiving request asking if TSVDI is hiring instructors

Lately we have been receiving request asking if TSVDI is hiring instructors. It’s a simple answer – we don’t hire instructors. It’s not because we are not busy – this month in the span of eight days we conducted six training programs. Rather it is because those who teach for us are required to endure a complex and arduous process, and there are not many that are capable and willing to go through it.

When asked why the complexity of the instructor process the answer usually is a technical explanation that covers comfort zones –equations – how skill is measured etc. But there is a far more compelling reason; it is an instructor process that for 40 years has produced a clientele that is unsurpassed in the industry. The following is not written out of arrogance or as a marketing technique, but rather as an explanation of “unsurpassed in the industry”.

Our clientele includes 85% of the top Fortune 500 companies. They come to TSVDI to keep their executives and employees throughout the world safe and secure. We train drivers, EP personnel, and executives. We train them not only in driving but in all aspects of personal security. In the past 12 months we have been to seven countries conducting Protective Specialist training for corporate personnel. We have close to 200 corporate clients, (that number grows by the week) six of the ten largest corporations, by annual revenue in the world, security personnel for over 20 High Net Worth families as our clients. We conduct programs for car manufactures, law enforcement agencies, and the serious minded military and government trainer, both foreign and US.

It should not be a surprise that we are not the only security training company on the planet, so the clients mentioned above had a choice and for 40 years they continue to choose us. When they come to a program they come with expectations – and for decades those expectations are met and exceeded. And now we come full circle; the reason they come to us is because of our training process, the TSVDI Management team that embraced it and the instructors who administer it.

In closing I offer you Webster’s definition of Tradition – “A set of customs and usages transmitted from one generation to another and viewed as a coherent body of precedents influencing the present” – No we don’t hire instructors – we invite those who have the passion and the desire and can complete the instructor training process to become part of a 40 year tradition.
