Student driving one of VDI’s armored Suburban near its limit – if this type of training was easy, everybody would do it.

The program was conducted in Mississippi with the VDI Armored and Non Armored Suburban’s, using on board computers and analytical testing the VDI instructors bring the students up to the limits of both the armored and unarmored vehicles, and do so in a small window of time in a variety of scenarios. The limits are about 10% below the “Tipping Speeds” – needless to say the calculations have to be precise.

That sounded like one heck of a really great course that pushed the limits, but did it with knowledge of what the vehicle can do in certain conditions
