This training manual is in service with law enforcement agencies, government departments and security professionals in over sixty countries. He has been an adviser to UK, USA and Middle Eastern Government bodies on disguised, improvised and clandestine weapons, methods of attack and weapons concealment.
Steve has for over forty years been a professional designer, writer and trainer.
In the mid 80’s he established his own company (PS5), which is now an internationally recognized specialist security consultancy, providing training and educational material to the law enforcement, defense and the security sectors. His company’s training wing ‘R.E.A.C.T’ Tactical Solutions delivers highly specialized training protocols to both the private and public sectors with specific focus on weapons related crime and personal protection from violence, aggressive behavior and terrorism.
Over the last 50 years Steve has had the privilege of training with some of the worlds most eminent authorities in martial arts, self-defense and personal protection. He has studied and trained in most of the well-known arts such as judo, jujutsu, karate, aikido, aikijujutsu and hapkido as well as some of the more militaristic close-quarter combat systems used by law enforcement professionals and Special Forces. He has achieved black belt dan grades in several disciplines and holds a master’s degree as a recognized authority and instructor in close-quarter personal protection from the International Ki Do Association.
Steve has also become an internationally recognized speaker, and lectures to government agencies, universities and corporate bodies on officer and public safety issues, with specific focus on weapons awareness and personal protection from violent attack.
