DigiLens raises $25 million from Germany’s Continental for its automotive holographic display
The deal will give Continental an 18 percent stake in DigiLens. The two companies are now jointly developing “a waveguide head-up display” (HUD) for cars. The waveguide technology also has potential for aviation and motorcycle helmets, the companies said in a press release.
Automakers are embracing virtual reality with help from gaming company Unity Technologies. Unity has quietly worked with major automakers to develop virtual reality tools, new human-machine interfaces, and more under its Unity Automotive division.

LinkedIn to roll out 1-click apply, ‘How you Match’ feature for job seekers
To make it easier for users to assess how qualified they are for a job, LinkedIn today announced that it is launching a “How you Match” feature, as well as the option to apply for jobs with just one click. Both features will be rolled out to users globally this month.

Two topics of discussions that dominate social media, both in the U.S. and abroad are certification and the state of training in the protection industry.
